I am the guide who helps business owners rewrite their business money story so that they earn the profit they need to fund the life they want.
I believe that success happens when things are simple, uncomplicated and easy to understand. How I do that is by solving complex and challenging problems. Ultimately, what I bring is a deep understanding.
For two decades I've been immersed in business and money stories. It all started one day when I was studying hard in a financial management class and realized financial statements told a story. That led me to commercial banking, which led me to working at and helping to grow a start-up focused on securing government grants and funding for businesses. I am now a business coach and teach business and economics at college.
I have worked with hundreds of businesses to secure millions of dollars in funding. But those numbers aren't as important as the stories I've witnessed and played a guide in.
Just about every business I've worked with has a bad money story of some sort. They love what they do; they are great at it and they are tenacious. But they aren't living the life they wanted when they started it. This makes them very normal, but when I simplify it, it's a product of bad money stories. Bad money stories like not being focused, having unclear marketing, being afraid to ask for money, and not having a system to manage their cash flow. Most business owners fly by the seat of their pants with a patchwork of other people's ideas, processes, systems, and well stories.
I'm here to help rewrite your business money story to make it yours. I have partnered with author Donald Miller, and I am a Certified StoryBrand Guide and a Business Made Simple Certified Coach. The deep understanding I've accumulated in lending and securing money, teaching and studying business, and consulting can all be simplified through the StoryBrand framework, the Business Made Simple framework of the airplane and the tools of Flight School.
Combined with what I've learned about the mind, limiting beliefs, and being Trauma of Money trained I believe it's the simple tools every business needs to rewrite their money story.
